The Rasilient AS424 (ApplianceStor424) is an enterprise-grade, 300-channel 4U recording server that integrates VMS and storage into a single high-performance appliance. Built around 24 direct-attached high-capacity SAS drives (DAS), the AS424 supports up to 480TB of local RAID storage — all in one box, without a separate storage tier.
Configured with an Intel Xeon E-2134 processor and up to 64GB ECC memory, the AS424 is a purpose-built open platform running Microsoft Windows, pre-loaded with all major VMS providers pre-qualified, including Milestone, Genetec, Digifort, Qognify, and ISS SecurOS.
RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, or 60 is supported, along with power-protected dual SSDs in RAID 1 for the operating system (up to 960GB). Backed by a 5-year warranty, the AS424 is built for large installations requiring long retention periods.
