Climate Control

The M2000-AI includes a built-in window heater and blower for demisting. Climate control activates automatically: the window heater engages at or below 30°C and disengages at 35°C or above. The demisting blower engages at 40°C and above and disengages at 35°C or below — keeping the housing clear without manual intervention. Connectivity runs through two Gigabit RJ45 ports, one input and one output, supporting pass-through cabling on longer runs.

Features & Compatibility

Part of AETEK’s M20 AC24V SMART Housing range, the M2000-AI protects and supports IP cameras on system integrator and government projects across Saudi Arabia, including Vision 2030 giga-project sites.

• ITB (Illuminator Touch Board) for optional IR LEDs
• Adjustable sunshield and a side-opening alarm switch
• Supports box cameras with wide-angle to 8-80mm remote-focus lenses
• Managed through AETEK’s Web UI, which handles the wiper, IR, water tank, heater and blower remotely

AETEK camera housings are NOT cameras themselves. They are the protective enclosure and, where applicable, PoE/power delivery platform that a compatible IP camera mounts into.
