The Mercury MR20 is a keypad-enabled magnetic-stripe card reader for OEM access control installations, adding a membrane keypad to the standard MR-series reader for two-factor card-plus-PIN entry on higher-security doors. It is a multi-track, multi-format, ruggedized device suited to both indoor and outdoor mounting, with field-proven reliability in harsh environments. Pairing the MR20 with a Mercury controller (/product-category/hid/mercury/mercury-controllers/) gives integrators a two-factor door on the same Mercury-native hardware chain as single-factor MR5 doors elsewhere on site, useful where a project has a mix of standard and high-security openings specified on one Mercury platform.
