Description
The Mercury MR50-S3 is a single-card-reader SIO Series 3 interface panel that connects one reader to a Mercury intelligent controller over an RS-485 bus, expanding the reader capacity of an MP or LP series controller beyond its natively supported ports.
The MR50-S3 supports a wide range of reader technologies on the same panel, including Wiegand, clock-and-data, magnetic-stripe, F2F, Supervised F2F, OSDP, keypad, and biometric readers — giving integrators flexibility to mix reader technologies across a single site as requirements evolve.
