Description
The AETEK SD-102 is a 1-channel indoor PoE surge protector built for high-speed network links up to 10Gbps, extending the proven SD-101 protection design with support for 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/10Gbps Ethernet. It safeguards PoE switches, PDs, and IP infrastructure against lightning strikes and power surges of up to 10KA / 20KV across all eight wires of the network cable, including PoE data lines, while remaining compliant with 802.3af/at/bt and UPoE standards.
The SD-102 mounts standalone beside PoE switches or inside junction/power enclosures for true plug-and-play installation, with a built-in failure indicator LED. An optional CH-110-V2 19-inch rack mount chassis is available for centralized deployments.
