Description

The AETEK SD-524 is a 24-channel managed PoE surge protector offering premium head-end monitored protection for large PoE deployments. Unlike standard passive units, the SD-524 provides managed status monitoring so integrators can remotely verify surge protection health across all 24 channels, each rated to withstand lightning strikes and power surges of up to 10KA / 20KV, with support for 802.3af/at/bt and UPoE across 10M/100M/1G/2.5Gbps Ethernet links.

Sharing the modular chassis platform used across the SD series, the SD-524 can be deployed on a DIN-rail, as a standalone modular unit, or installed into a 19-inch rack mount chassis (CH-110-V2), making it ideal for enterprise and government video surveillance and access-control networks that require centralized, monitored surge protection.
