The AETEK P6000-I-V2 is a professional camera housing built around high-power 60W/90W PoE for heater-equipped cameras in harsh outdoor conditions.

Part of AETEK’s P60 Professional 60W/90W PoE Normal Housing range, the P6000-I-V2 is designed to protect and support IP cameras on system integrator and government projects across Saudi Arabia, including Vision 2030 giga-project sites. AETEK camera housings are NOT cameras themselves — they are the protective enclosure and, where applicable, PoE/power delivery platform that a compatible IP camera mounts into.

Built on a cast-aluminum body rated IP68 for weatherproofing and IK10 for impact resistance, the P6000-I-V2 accepts PoE input across 30W, 60W, and 95W power budgets (50 to 57VDC), stepping down to a 24VDC/48W output for the mounted camera and accessories.

Power draw breaks down across the housing’s window heater (10W) and blower (2W), the camera itself (6 to 12W), and optional infrared illuminators (12W, 24W, or 48W depending on the VR-series module fitted).

The housing operates from -20C to 65C (-20C to 50C with IR LEDs active), with the integrated window heater engaging below 20C and the blower activating above 35C to keep the lens clear in Saudi Arabia’s heat and dust.
