Description
The Mercury MP2500 is an open-architecture intelligent controller scalable to 64 doors/openings, built for OEM access control platforms that run on the Mercury standard rather than a single vendor’s proprietary hardware. It performs access control, alarm management, and scheduled operations in a single package, with an on-board Ethernet port connecting directly to cloud or server-based access control hosts. The MP2500 has no onboard reader or I/O ports natively — it is designed to be expanded via Mercury I/O modules and reader interface panels to match the exact door and input/output count a project requires. Security features include ARM TrustZone, secure boot CPU, a crypto chip, and data-at-rest encryption, with FIPS 140-3 compliant OpenSSL. Cardholder capacity is 600,000, with support for up to 1,024 inputs and 1,024 outputs. As part of Mercury’s MP Intelligent series, it supports legacy compatibility mode for sites migrating from LP controllers without a host software change.
