AETEK M30-011-01 Industrial Gigabit Media Converter (1x GbE + 1x GbE SFP)

Description

The AETEK M30-011-01 is an industrial Gigabit media converter. It bridges one 10/100/1000BASE-T copper port with one 100/1000BASE-X SFP fiber port. This lets system integrators extend Ethernet links over long fiber runs, without losing Gigabit speed.

Built for Harsh Environments

The M30-011-01 ships in a compact, fanless IP30 enclosure. It operates from -40C to 75C, so it handles extreme heat and cold alike. This makes it a strong fit for outdoor cabinets, rooftops, and industrial sites across Saudi Arabia.

Power input is flexible. The unit accepts 12-56VDC or 24VAC, so it fits most existing power setups. DIN-rail mounting keeps installation simple inside control cabinets and field enclosures.

Performance and Reliability

Switching capacity reaches 4 Gbps, with a forwarding rate of 2.976 Mpps. The converter supports 9KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet, so large data payloads move efficiently. Link Fault Passthrough (LFP) helps network teams spot a break in the fiber or copper link instantly.

Built-in protection includes 6KV surge immunity and ESD protection up to 8KV. Rated MTBF exceeds 50,000 hours, supporting long-term, low-maintenance deployments. The device carries CE, FCC, VCCI, and C-Tick certifications (source: aetektec.com).
